Choose Open image or drag a photo into the workspace. You can also try the sample before choosing your own file. This online photo editor accepts JPEG, PNG and static WebP, up to 20 MiB, 12 megapixels and 8,192 pixels per side.
Start with Crop to set the composition, then Resize if you need specific pixel dimensions. Adjust the light, choose a filter or add a caption. Switch between tools without opening another page. Undo and redo let you compare changes as you work.
Choose Export, select a format and check the output dimensions. Prepare download generates the file; the separate Download button saves it through your browser. Your original file is not overwritten, and you can return to the workspace to keep editing.
Choose the change your picture needs. Each tool keeps your current image and editing history, so you can crop, adjust and add text without starting over.
Remove distracting edges, center a subject or make a square profile picture. Choose a free crop or use a preset such as 1:1, 4:3 or 16:9. Drag the crop area or enter its position and dimensions, then select Apply crop.
Crop changes the frame. Resize changes the output dimensions. Use them in that order when you need both.
Open crop toolSet a width and height for a product listing, website image or social post. Keep the ratio locked to preserve the picture’s proportions. Unlock it only when you intend to stretch the whole image, including any text you have added.
For a 1200 × 1200 image, crop to 1:1, apply the crop, then resize to 1200 pixels. Enlarging pixels does not recover missing detail.
Open resize toolTurn a sideways photo left or right in 90-degree steps, or mirror it horizontally or vertically. Rotation and flipping apply to the complete artwork, including captions. You can undo the change if the subject or text ends up facing the wrong way.
Set the photo’s orientation before adding text when you want the caption to stay upright.
Open rotate and flipChange brightness to lighten or darken the image, contrast to separate light and dark areas, and saturation to control color intensity. Try Black & white, Vintage, Warm or Cool for a different finish. These changes affect the photo, while your added text and background fill keep their chosen colors.
Make small adjustments and use Undo to compare. A strong filter can hide texture or make skin tones look unnatural.
Open color adjustmentsWrite a short title, product label or personal message. Choose a system font, change the size and color, set alignment, or add line breaks. Drag text into position or enter its coordinates. You can add up to 10 text objects and edit them separately while working.
Place a caption over a quieter part of the image and choose a contrasting color. Exported text becomes part of the picture.
Open text toolKeep transparent areas as they are, or fill them with white, a preset shade or a custom color. This is useful for a product cutout that needs to sit on a colored page. The background control fills existing transparency; it does not remove an opaque background.
Export as PNG to keep transparency. To cut out a subject first, use the optional AI Background Remover.

Need a smaller file? For JPEG or WebP, try a lower quality setting or smaller output dimensions. This editor does not guarantee an exact file size in KB. Export creates a new image and does not preserve all original camera metadata or color profiles.
Opening, cropping, resizing and exporting do not send your photo to an image server. The editor keeps the original separately from your changes and uses a smaller preview for responsive editing. Export renders from the original at your selected dimensions.
When browser storage is available, edits save automatically on this device. Reopen the same tab to resume the draft within 24 hours of its last save. Clearing browser data can remove it, and drafts do not sync across devices. Download a finished copy to keep it.
Check the saving status in the workspace. If local saving is unavailable, editing and downloading still work in that tab; download before leaving. Clear local draft removes the current draft after confirmation. Copies referenced by other drafts or AI transfers are kept.

Basic edits and exports happen in your browser. Your photo and draft are stored on this device when browser storage is available. Continuing to AI Background Remover prepares a local copy; the AI tool uploads it only when you choose to run background removal.
The original image is kept separately from your edits. Previews use a smaller working copy for responsive editing; exports render from the original at your selected dimensions. Undo, redo and Reset to original are available while you work.
Reducing dimensions removes pixels; increasing dimensions cannot restore detail that was not captured. JPEG and WebP quality settings can also change the result. Choose dimensions close to the size you need, keep the original file and avoid repeatedly exporting and reopening a lossy image.
The basic editor does not add a watermark. If you open an image that already contains a watermark, including an AI free preview, that watermark remains in the image. Using the basic editor does not unlock paid AI results.
No installation or account is needed for basic photo editing. Open the page in a browser with JavaScript enabled, choose an image and edit it here. Optional AI tools use a separate processing flow and their existing account, preview and credit rules.
The workspace adapts to smaller screens. Use the tool strip below the image, adjust settings and export. If a download opens a preview on your device, touch and hold the image to save it. Large images can take longer on devices with less memory.
When local browser storage is available, your current draft is saved automatically. You can resume it in the same browser tab for up to 24 hours after the last save. Drafts are not synced between devices; clearing browser data removes them. Download your image for a lasting copy.
An existing transparent area stays transparent when exported as PNG. The background tool can fill transparent areas with a solid color. Cutting a subject out of an opaque photo requires the separate AI Background Remover.
Open JPEG, PNG and still WebP files. Animated images, HEIC, RAW, SVG and layered project files are not supported in this version. Convert them to a supported still image before opening them.
Basic photo editing here is free and runs on your device. To cut out a subject, choose Continue to AI Background Remover in the workspace. It prepares a local copy; the AI page uploads it only when you run removal. You can bring the visible result back here to crop, add text or finish the background.
AI tools have their own free preview and credit rules. Existing watermarks remain unless you obtain an authorized clean result. The other tools below open separate AI pages.
